NAIROBI, (insidesomalia.org)-Somalia's interim Prime Minister Nur "Adde" Hassan Hussein has hinted that he is willing to engage in direct talks with opposition leaders based in Asmara, Eritrea.
Speaking in the Kenyan capital Nairobi, Prime Minister Nur Adde praised a recently concluded summit on the Somali economy, saying the summit ended in success.
But the Prime Minister told journalists that he did not come to Nairobi at this time to speak with opposition leaders, who are also in Nairobi.
He stated that the government delegation reached Nairobi to partake in the economy summit, which offered speeches by former African heads of state.
Prime Minister Nur Adde reiterated his position that he is willing to talk with the opposition leaders, adding that both sides plan to establish a joint committee to begin the peace talks.
The Prime Minister will fly to Saudi Arabia on Sunday on government-related business, according to aides.
